GeneSys

the GENEalogical databaseSYStem of the Association of the four baltic noble corporations

The aim of the GENESYS-project is, to collect as complete as possible the genealogies of the families belonging to the four noble corporations of Livonia, Estonia, Courland and Oesel in one single database. These data (except living people) are publicly available to all members.

Besides the genealogical data GeneSys stores pictures of manors, people, tombs and important documents.

Furthermore, GeneSys allows for checking the relation between two persons in the database and to show this relation.

GeneSys contains

• more than 160.000 individuals
• more than 28.000 pictures of individuals, manors, churches and tombs

These data are growing thanks to the work of the GeneSys-team.
